The Work is almost done at the Golden Glades Multimodal Transportation Facility (GGMTF). The facility consists of several improvements including: building a multi-story parking garage, new transit hub, bus driver’s break lounge, bus terminal, and covered walkways. This D/B project will upgrade and enhance mobility at the existing GGMTF. Key project fixtures include: the construction of a six story parking garage that consists of approximately 910,000 sq. ft. and 2,400 parking spaces; 4,500 sq. ft. Transit Hub; 10,450 sq. ft. of Retail space; new designated passenger waiting areas; direct access to Tri-Rail station from the new parking garage via a new pedestrian bridge; bicycle parking and lockers; new multi-bay bus terminals; upgrade and new bicycle paths, sidewalks, walkways, and platforms; and the reconstruction of SR-9, SR-7 and Frontage Road in the vicinity of this multi-modal transportation facility. A&P Engineers is the Engineer of Record for this D-B FDOT District VI/Miami-Dade County project.
