Hard Rock Stadium Pedestrian Bridges and Tunnels

A&P Engineers (under Senior Project Engineer / Project Administrator Erik Sibila, PE) is part of the CEI team for this state funded safety project that consists of Design-Build of two pedestrian bridges -one over the Turnpike exit ramp and one over NW 199th Street- for the Hard Rock Stadium.

Scope of work includes Pile foundations, MSE walls, Steel Bridge, erosion control, drainage improvements, lighting, future signalization improvements, signage and pavement markings, precast concrete, curb and gutter, ADA sidewalk/ramp reconstruction, landscaping, sod, irrigation, temporary traffic control, parking lot modification/ resurfacing, striping, and signing. Project also includes construction of two pre-stressed, pre-cast concrete tunnels under the Hard Rock Stadium's perimeter ring road segments and involves excavation, coffer dam with steel sheet piles, dewatering, concrete, barrier wall, electrical, lighting, drainage, pumps, irrigation, landscaping, traffic control, roadway re-construction, parking lot modification, striping, and signing. Construction began October 1st, 2018 and is expected to be completed by late September or early October 2019. Construction cost is $15,042,855.14.
