The Garney-DMSI-APCTE DB Team successfully completed the 48-inch subaqueous crossing at the Snapper Creek Canal. This complex crossing allows the connection of the 48-inch PCCP Water Main along SW 117 Avenue to the existing 60-inch PCCP Water Main running parallel to the Canal along N. Snapper Creek Drive. The canal crossing was performed via open cut with a total length of approximately 95 feet. After the installation of the pipe, the contractor restored the canal to its original conditions as required by the environmental agencies.
